Waste free fashion collective: Waste-To-Wear
The Waste Free Fashion Collective create high-vibe couture garments from 100% waste materials. We communicate the environmental problems we face, by reimagining our waste materials in new and exciting ways, preventing them from going to landfill. After three successful catwalk performances at Turner Contemporary, and soho house berlin, we are thrilled that Margate Festival will hold our 5th catwalk. Our collective consists of Dream Safari (Art Wear), Erin Laurel Hayhow (Gender Fluid Fashion), Robert George Sanders (Menswear) and Gloria Royer (Womenswear).
Plastic is polluting our oceans and hurting and killing marine life all over the world. As design activists we reuse plastic and other shore found waste to form our collections and will hold our catwalk performance ‘ On Margate sands’ with our models walking along the shoreline.
